First Ever IAM Advanced Web Class
Twenty-six Web Stewards converged on IAM. William W. Winpinsinger
Education & Technology Center for the Advanced Web school in
Hollywood, Maryland November 10th -14th.
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers
provides cutting edge ideas and education for its' members.
"Education is power" declared Rick Sloan, Director of Communications
for the IAM.
Participants advanced their knowledge with classes in Swish,
Paint Shop Pro and Adobe- thanks to instructors Rick Palmer & Donna
Georgallas. Guest speakers covered digital photography,
writing for the web, video-logistics & the Working Families Tool
Kit.
It was a busy but extremely worthwhile week and I thank the
members of my lodge for providing me with the opportunity to attend.
